Granting Wishes for Arizona Teachers
The Palo Verde Fiesta Bowl Charities Wishes for Teachers program was created in 2016 to support Arizona educators who spend their own money to enhance their classroom experience. Teachers are invited to fill out an online application in the fall detailing their school and classroom wish, which are then selected by a random drawing to receive a $2,500 grant through DonorsChoose. The program aims to thank and honor Arizona educators, and all wish recipients are invited to walk in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade and be recognized on-field at the Guaranteed Rate Bowl.
