KB Woods is excited to announce our participation and sponsorship in the upcoming Zoo Move & Groove 5K Run at the Phoenix Zoo, scheduled for Saturday, January 20, 2024, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Why It Matters: Helping Wildlife Thrive
Since 1962, the Arizona Center for Nature Conservation/Phoenix Zoo has been dedicated to wildlife conservation. Today, the Zoo is a safe haven for 80 endangered species. By joining the Zoo Move & Groove 5K, you contribute to local conservation projects and the well-being of the Zoo’s diverse animal population.
What to Expect: Fun After Dark!
When you register for the 5K, you’ll receive a cool shirt, exclusive access to ZooLights after the race, delightful treats like popcorn and hot cocoa, a glow-in-the-dark necklace/bracelet, and a chance to win a fantastic trip to San Diego Zoo & Safari Park in the Zoopendous Raffle.
Not a Runner? Hibernate & Support at Home!
If running isn’t your thing, you can still support the Zoo from the comfort of your home with “Hibernate at Home.” Registered participants receive a commemorative shirt and can purchase Zoopendous Raffle tickets, a commemorative medal, or extra shirts for $15 each. Just pick up your items at a designated Packet Pick-up Day or at the Zoo after the event. We’ll email you when they’re ready, along with pick-up instructions.
