Friend and mentor Jeb Rosebrook died on August 31, 2018 in Scottsdale, Arizona. This video was produced by Keith Woods, KB Woods Public Relations and Handstage, as a short feature for the Blu-Ray release of the Rodeo Classic film “Junior Bonner.” This film was written by Jeb Rosebook, and starred Steve McQueen, Robert Preston, Ida Lupino and Joe Don Baker. Sam Peckinpah directed the film, based in Prescott, Arizona.
This short video was filmed on July 4th, 2016 at the Prescott Frontier Days Parade, where Jeb Rosebrook was the honorary grand marshal.
Recently Jeb Rosebrook published a book about the making of “Junior Bonner” titled “Junior Bonner: The Making of a Classic with Steve McQueen and Sam Peckinpah in the Summer of 1971.” Available in hardback and paperback on Amazon.
