Pollack Tempe Cinemas once again delivered a festive spectacle during its 6th Annual Free Christmas Movie Night on November 21, 2019. With holiday cheer in full swing, the event dazzled the community with a stunning display of over 500,000 Christmas lights. These lights weighed more than 2 tons and stretched an incredible 75 miles end to end. They transformed the cinema’s exterior into a winter wonderland.
Each year, Michael Pollack, owner of Pollack Tempe Cinemas, personally oversees the creation of this holiday experience. By investing time and resources into this elaborate setup, he demonstrates his unwavering commitment to building community connections. Through this annual event, Pollack offers families and residents an unforgettable night of holiday entertainment—at no cost.
As guests arrived, they were greeted not only by the brilliant lights but also by a festive atmosphere filled with music, laughter, and anticipation. Families gathered early to explore the light displays, sip on hot cocoa, and take part in the joyous countdown. The countdown led to the movie screening.
