The SRP Elections are being held on April 7, 2020. KB Woods Public Relations agency founder Keith Woods is running for re-election to the SRP District 7 Board of Directors seat. This area serves east Phoenix, including the Biltmore area, Arcadia, south Scottsdale, and Tempe, north of the Salt River.

Keith original served on SRP’s Council, being elected in 1996. He has been on the SRP Board since 2000, and presently serves as chairman of the Power Committee, overseeing such issues as the de-commissioning of the coal-fired power plant in Page, Arizona (Navajo Generating Station), the addition of 1,000 megawatts of Solar plus Battery Storage recently, and the pursuit of an accelerated electric vehicle usage goal of 50% by 2035 in the SRP service territory. All while promoting affordable, and reliable power and water for much of Metropolitan Phoenix.

All while keeping the costs of electricity low, as well as the supply of water for households, municipalities, and farmers.
